This trip was delayed due to gearbox failure in the coach. This resulted in an unscheduled rest in the Motorway Service area at Stansted as shown in the first 3 photos in the slide show. We had a very enjoyable visit to Layer Marney Tower. Most of us arrived shortly before 11 am and had time to explore the gardens before lunch.
