About Us
The first Probus Club was formed in 1965. There are now well over 2200 clubs in the UK and 1700 in Australia. The movement is spreading rapidly throughout the world.
The objective is to provide a meeting point for professionals and businessmen who are retired or who are approaching retirement and who would appreciate increased social contacts and enjoy participating in activities of interest to members.

1 TITLE
The Club shall be called “The Dengie Hundred Probus Club”
2 AIMS AND OBJECTIVES
The purpose of the club is to enable good fellowship through regular luncheon meetings with guest speakers, a programme of occasional visits and other activities of interest to members.
3 MEMBERSHIP
Membership is open to retired and semi-retired men from professional or business backgrounds or similar fields of endeavour.
